\u00e2me \u00bb), est n\u00e9 en 1869 en Inde et mort assassin\u00e9 en 1948.<br>Form\u00e9 au droit \u00e0 Londres, il d\u00e9veloppe sa pens\u00e9e politique en Afrique du Sud en luttant contre les discriminations envers les Indiens.<br>Il fonde sa philosophie sur la non-violence (ahimsa) et la recherche de la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 (satya).<br>Selon lui, la r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l\u2019injustice doit passer par la d\u00e9sob\u00e9issance civile et non par la violence.<br>Il appelle cette m\u00e9thode le \u00ab satyagraha \u00bb, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire la \u00ab force de la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 \u00bb.<br>Gandhi critique la domination coloniale britannique mais aussi les exc\u00e8s du mat\u00e9rialisme et de l\u2019industrialisation.<br>Il d\u00e9fend une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 fond\u00e9e sur l\u2019autonomie locale, la simplicit\u00e9 volontaire et le respect moral entre les individus.<br>Ses actions les plus c\u00e9l\u00e8bres sont les campagnes de boycott et la Marche du sel de 1930.<br>Il joue un r\u00f4le majeur dans l\u2019ind\u00e9pendance de l\u2019Inde obtenue en 1947.<br>Sa pens\u00e9e m\u00eale traditions hindoues, influences chr\u00e9tiennes et id\u00e9es humanistes universelles.<br>Gandhi consid\u00e8re que les moyens employ\u00e9s doivent \u00eatre aussi justes que le but recherch\u00e9.<br>Son influence d\u00e9passe l\u2019Inde et inspire des figures comme Martin Luther King Jr. ou Nelson Mandela.<br>Aujourd\u2019hui, Gandhi reste une r\u00e9f\u00e9rence mondiale pour les luttes pacifiques et les droits humains.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div
