formalise le syllogisme, base du raisonnement d\u00e9ductif classique.<br>En m\u00e9taphysique, il distingue la puissance et l\u2019acte pour expliquer le changement.<br>Il affirme que chaque \u00eatre poss\u00e8de une finalit\u00e9 (\u00ab cause finale \u00bb).<br>Sa morale repose sur la recherche du juste milieu entre exc\u00e8s et d\u00e9faut : la vertu conduit au bonheur (eudaimonia).<br>En politique, l\u2019homme est un \u00ab animal politique \u00bb destin\u00e9 \u00e0 vivre dans la cit\u00e9.<br>Il classe les r\u00e9gimes politiques et privil\u00e9gie un gouvernement \u00e9quilibr\u00e9 orient\u00e9 vers le bien commun.<br>En esth\u00e9tique, la trag\u00e9die produit une \u00ab catharsis \u00bb, purification des passions.<br>Son influence fut immense
