wp-elements-9bb3e86e924851644f6e9081e29f26ea\">Le philosophe<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Arthur Schopenhauer<\/strong> (1788-1860) est un philosophe allemand majeur du courant pessimiste.<br>Son \u0153uvre principale, <em>Le Monde comme volont\u00e9 et comme repr\u00e9sentation<\/em> (1818), affirme que le monde poss\u00e8de deux faces :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>la \u00ab repr\u00e9sentation \u00bb, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire le monde tel qu\u2019il appara\u00eet \u00e0 notre conscience ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>la \u00ab volont\u00e9 \u00bb, force irrationnelle et aveugle qui pousse tous les \u00eatres \u00e0 d\u00e9sirer et \u00e0 lutter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Selon lui, le d\u00e9sir est la source essentielle de la souffrance humaine : satisfaire un d\u00e9sir conduit vite \u00e0 l\u2019ennui, puis \u00e0 de nouveaux d\u00e9sirs.<br>La vie oscille donc entre souffrance et ennui.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Influenc\u00e9 par Immanuel Kant et par les philosophies indiennes (bouddhisme et hindouisme), Schopenhauer propose plusieurs moyens d\u2019att\u00e9nuer cette souffrance :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>l\u2019art, surtout la musique ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>la compassion morale envers autrui ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>l\u2019asc\u00e8se et le renoncement aux d\u00e9sirs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sa pens\u00e9e a profond\u00e9ment influenc\u00e9 Friedrich Nietzsche, Sigmund Freud et de nombreux \u00e9crivains et artistes
